Artwork production specialist

For our client Unilever we are looking for a full time (40 hours a week) Artwork Production Specialist. This is a temporary position for 6 months, starting as soon as possible. As an artworker you create the packaging designs, through to commercially reproducible mechanical artwork, and separations which are handed over to the printer in a timely manner.

As an artworker production specialist you are someone who can work in a multicultural environment. You love design, brands, packaging and you have an eye for detail. You are creative and you like working with people. In addition, you need a strong sense of responsibility. Requirements for this position are as follows:

• Bachelor or master degree, minimum HBO level;
• Some experience in artwork management or a similar role, which may include: print production, print management, graphic design, packaging development, CGI production and or supply management;
• Experience with project management and working with deadlines;
• Fluent in English (the working language is English).

You will be responsible for initiating and managing projects using the artwork management system in order to deliver the projects on time. This is a high intensity project management role, in which communication, influencing and negotiation are key.

Furthermore, you will provide expertise and input into the design, artwork and print phases of the project to ensure that the right levels of approval integrity, brand quality and consistency are maintained throughout the artwork process and supplier printing process.

You will be negotiating timelines with internal (brand managers) and external stakeholders and you will be delivering CGI fit for e-commerce.

• You are fully responsible for the artwork process;
• You collaborate with marketing and design agencies and also work with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally;
• You lead pre-production meetings;
• You will manage the expectations of internal and external stakeholders with regard to status, timetables and technical expertise.
