Store Standards Process Specialist

It is a temporary role till the end of March 2026 for 40 hours a week. Nike maintains a hybrid working model: 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Store Standards & Process Specialist (Retail Operations Specialist) who is a functional expert to support our corporate EHQ team in the Netherlands (remote work is possible for this role). This role is critical in supporting one of Nike’s most significant transformational initiatives, SEC. It will require in-depth knowledge of the retail business to support testing and process validation steps and help develop and create content that will support our retail stores through the changes that SEC will bring to in-store operations. The ideal candidate is highly organised, adaptable, and embraces a “There is no finish line” mindset.

• Experience: Relevant experience in retail stores and/or operations (Nike/Converse experience is a plus).
• Skills: Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency: Familiarity with retail systems (e.g., POS, Inventory Management) and Microsoft Office.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and present to stakeholders at all levels.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
• Flexibility: Flexibility in working hours: SEC working hours are roughly 10:00-19:00 Monday through Friday, with the occasional need to work over bank holidays.
• Care for the environment and passion for driving sustainability initiatives among Nike stores.

No two days are the same within this team, and you will have exposure to learn and develop while bringing subject matter expertise and enterprise thinking to Marketplace Activation within Nike’s Strategic Enterprise Capabilities. You will assist in innovating and creating Nike Direct's future vision, which will enable timely and profitable delivery of products to the consumer.

• Process Optimization: Gather, document, and finalise globally aligned process flows for capabilities across Nike Direct. Identify specific gaps and requirements to support the critical capabilities needed for Nike’s future state vision and current bu
• Subject Matter Expert: Provide subject matter expertise in developing and deploying the future-state Nike Direct capabilities necessary to execute Nike’s long-term strategic vision.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders (e.g., Supply Chain, Technology, Loss Prevention, and Training teams) to support SEC key decisions and ensure smooth execution.
• Global Mindset: Provide subject matter expertise and connection with subject matter experts across geographies to facilitate insights and best practices globally.
• Lead: Represent Nike Direct in cross-functional meetings and workshops to identify connection points with the EMEA SEC team.
• Training & Support: Support store teams with training, tools, and resources to enable operational excellence through the lens of SEC.
• Sustainability Services – lead the end to end execution of sustainability services in stores, including planning, stakeholders alignment and communication, stores training and monitoring KPI’s during and post implementation
