Are you passionate about delivering excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction? At Samsung SDS, we’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service & Claims Representative to be the vital link between our customers, internal teams, and external partners. Based at our European Distribution Center in Born, you’ll play a key role in handling customer requests, resolving issues, and managing claims from start to finish. You have strong communication skills and can
communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues,
customers, and transporters, both over the phone and via
email. You have the ability to quickly grasp problems and
always work in a solution-oriented, service-focused, and
customer-friendly manner.

  •  A minimum of a completed MBO 4 education, preferably in logistics
  •  Experience in logistics and transport
  •  A good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  •  Experience with Excel
  •  High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  •  Ability to work independently
  •  Customer oriented mindset

As a Customer Service and Claims Representative, you will be
based at the European Distribution Center in Born, working as
part of a Customer Service team alongside four colleagues.

  •  Handling customer requests: Receiving, reviewing, and replying to customer questions and requests by Jira and email, within agreed response times.
  •  Following up on issues and tickets: Registering, tracking, and solving service requests and complaints via Jira, while keeping deadlines in mind.
  •  Claims handling: Managing all types of claims, including receiving the initial report, analyzing the situation, communicating with involved parties, and ensuring the claim is processed correctly and on time.
  •  Coordinating communication: Working with internal and external stakeholders such as Warehouse, Planning, and Carriers to solve customer issues or to settle claims.
  •  Improving customer satisfaction: Noticing repeating problems and helping to find long-term solutions or process improvements.
