As a warehouse worker at FedEx in Eindhoven you are available at least 2 days a week. Working more is of course possible. In addition, you recognize yourself in the following points.
- You can apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
- You have your own transportation to FedEx
- You can provide a reference from a previous employer
As a warehouse worker, you will perform a variety of tasks. You will put boxes on the belt, scan and sort packages by zip code. You will manually unload the boxes from the trucks. So the work as a warehouse worker is varied but physically demanding. You walk and lift a lot. The advantage is that you don't have to go to the gym anymore!
You can choose which shifts you want to work. It is important that you are available for at least 2 days and that you can agree on fixed working days.
The standard working hours are from 05:30 to 09:30. If you are available for longer hours, there are opportunities to occasionally work until 14:00. So you can be super flexible in arranging your own work week with us!
FedEx is an international carrier of packages. Every week, FedEx transports 4.4 million packages, documents and freight to 200 countries. FedEx has one of its distribution centers in Eindhoven, where you will be working as a warehouse worker. This is where the trucks are unloaded, the packages sorted and the trucks reloaded.
