Production worker DAF Trucks

At DAF Trucks in Eindhoven, we are looking for production workers in the Plaat Komponenten Fabriek (PKF). In this factory the metal parts of DAF are produced. Production workers at this workplace are responsible in a team for supplying, driving and stocking the metal presses and the entire pre- and post-processing in the DAF Trucks paint shop.

Of course, you won't just become a production worker on this top-notch team! For this, we have the following expectations of you:

• You have experience as a production worker, metalworking direction preferred
• Fulltime available for a longer period of time in 3 shifts
• You have your own transportation for the night shift

As a Production Technician at DAF Trucks, you will mainly have to hang, insert, load or unload metal parts. So this is a job where you will be doing physical work.

Together with your team, you ensure that DAF Trucks can achieve sufficient production in order to meet the company's objectives. Safety always comes first.

There are two different departments where we are looking for production workers, the Press Hall and the Parts Paint Line (OLS). First of all, the Press Hall, where you put metal sheets in a large metal press (alone or with colleagues). You operate this machine and this is how the parts are pressed a certain shape. After this the parts have to be taken out of the press and sorted by customer order.

At the Parts Paint Line you take care of the preparatory work for the spray booth. Think of sorting all parts and hanging them on the railing so they can be processed in the spray box according to the customer's wishes. After this coating they are dried and as a production worker you will take out and sort all complete parts.

The DAF site is incredibly large and is located just outside the center of Eindhoven. The production facility in Eindhoven is therefore: about 900,000 m2. In total, more than 7,000 employees work at the Eindhoven site. Thus, a total of: 60,000 trucks produced. In addition, DAF's new generation of trucks has been awarded the title of 'International Truck of the Year 2022 & 2023'.
