Shunter (Truck driver without CE)

GLS Utrecht is looking for motivated team members to strengthen our dynamic logistics team. As a shunter, you play a crucial role in the transportation process, contributing to the smooth flow of goods.

• You have a driver's license B;
• You have an affinity for driving;
• Flexibility to work evenings and nights;

• You show initiative and take on tasks independently.

You are indispensable to GLS. As a shunter, you ensure that the trailer is ready for the others to carry out their work. You operate a box truck, which you can drive with a regular driver's license (B). The shunter role is the ideal pathway to become a truck driver. You can already operate trailers without requiring a CE license. If you have the ambition to become a truck driver, this is 100% the opportunity for you!

• Your workweeks vary due to working in shifts. In the first week, you work during the day from 10:00 to 19:00, where you will undergo training. After that, you will join the shift system and work during the hours of 18:30 - 03:30.
• During day shifts, you work 40 hours per week, and during night shifts, the total hours amount to 33 per week.

• Working from Monday to Friday with weekends off;
• After 20:00, a surcharge of 8.75%, from 00:00 to 5:00 a surcharge of 11.25%, and on Sundays, a surcharge of 100%;
• €0.19 per kilometer travel expense reimbursement with a maximum of €13.80 per day (49 km one way);
