We offer an internship in the Global Medical Affairs organization of CERENOVUS, a Johnson and Johnson MedTech company, focusing on product innovation and product insights. CERENOVUS offers a broad portfolio of devices used in the endovascular treatment of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke.

This internship will offer you a great opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare sector with the opportunity to make your own publication . The duration of this internship will be 6 to 9 months.

€650 gross per month (based on 40 hours)

MSc student in the field of medicine, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, biomedical science, biomedical engineering or another related discipline.

Fluency in English is required, as well as above average computer skills (Powerpoint, Excel, Word).

You will be part of the global Medical Affairs organisation of CERENOVUS. You will support disease state research and product innovation across the breadth of products and therapeutic areas in neurovascular disease. The internship is o􀅫ice-based and does not involve any laboratory work.

Your core project will be research assignment, carried out as a systematic review of literature with qualitative and quantitative analysis. A report of all findings shall be created. There is an opportunity for writing abstracts, posters, or manuscripts for publication.

Furthermore you will be:

  • Liaising and communicating with many different departments
  • Managing projects relating to Medical Affairs in line with business needs
  • Working with colleagues in the US and across EMEA to create streamlined processes
  • Identifying and reviewing scientific literature to aid the products' portfolios

CERENOVUS is a manufacturer and supplier of neurovascular devices for the treatment of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke. CERENOVUS headquarters are in Irvine, California, with R&D facilities in Miami, Florida and Galway, Ireland. The Global Medical Affairs team is a virtual team from all over the world.

You will be supervised by the Global Medical Affairs CERENOVUS Associate Director based in Ireland, as well as the EMEA Sr Manager Medical Affairs based in The Netherlands. Because we think it's important that our interns not only have good contacts within their team but also with the other interns, there is a monthly meeting with all Johnson & Johnson interns in the Netherlands, the interns@JnJ-meeting. Here, a senior manager gives a presentation about an interesting project and his/her own career. One of the interns also presents about his/her assignment and learning experiences. This also allows you to build up a network throughout Johnson & Johnson in the Netherlands.

  • The internship can be home-based in combination with the J&J Medical Amersfoort office.
