Electronics engineer

Then we are looking for you for the position of Electronics Engineer at Alstom.

You are passionate about technology and:

• English spoken and written, NL is a plus;
• A completed technical education in electrotechnics, mechatronics or mechanics;
• VCA basic (can be obtained);
• Lifting certificate or forklift certificate (can be obtained)

As an electronics mechanic, you start your day together with your colleagues. During the start of the day, while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea, you and your team discuss the work that needs to be done that day.
You have a varied function, which means not one day is the same. You build panels, cabinets, power modules, and electronics cassettes. In addition, you also perform repair work on faulty systems. You do this on trams/trains and metros at the workshop in Ridderkerk.

A position in which your eye for detail and accuracy comes in handy. You work with assembly tools, calibrated torque wrenches, electronic measuring equipment and soldering equipment. You sometimes also transport the products yourself with a forklift. Do you not have this certificate yet? No problem! You can get this for free through Randstad.

• You put together components according to drawings and wiring lists;
• Checking for the presence of drawings, schedules, parts and materials;
• Identification and reporting of deviations in products and/or work instructions;
• Carrying out repairs to systems, power modules, cabinets and panels and reassembling with supplemented replacement material.
