Internship for 3 - 6 months
We are currently looking for a student who meets the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related studies
- Fluent in English, fluency in Dutch is an advantage
- Experience with for instance Solidworks, Matlab, Python is considered a plus
- Available for minimal 32 hours (preferably 40 hours)
As an intern, you will work in a dynamic Research & Development environment under the supervision of an engineer or scientist in a multidisciplinary team that has expertise in the development of intraocular lenses, process development and metrology.
We have multiple projects within our department that you might be interested in of which a few are listed here:
- Improvement and automation of a test setup
- Improvement and re-design of an eye model
- Literature study on market developments
