What You’ll Be Doing:

Shape Safety Strategy

·       Co-develop and implement HSE policies across one business line, called aerostructures

·       Translate legislation into practical internal guidelines

·       Monitor legal compliance and provide expert advice

Assess & Improve Working Conditions

·       Conduct exposure assessments (chemicals, noise, vibrations)

·       Evaluate ergonomic risks and support diverse employee needs

·       Lead incident investigations and recommend preventive actions

Drive Action & Awareness

·       Plan and execute annual HSE activities (RI&E, audits, monitoring, PMO / PAGO)

·       Keep accurate safety data records and follow up on findings

·       Act as the go-to expert for internal teams and external regulators

Inform & Influence

·       Deliver regular updates to leadership on risks, trends, and progress

·       Prepare government reports and ensure transparent communication

Functie-eisen

What you'll bring:

·       HBO-Bachelor level.

·       Minimal completion MVK (Middelbare Veiligheidskunde). IVK (Integrale Veiligheidskunde) or HVK (Hogere Veiligheidskunde - NEBOSH) is an advantage.

·       General knowledge of occupational hygiene. Prepared to obtain a degree in Occupational Hygiene.

·       Legislation and regulations, in particular the Working Conditions Act.

·       Organizational policy about HSE.

·       Strong in both written and verbal communication in Dutch and English.

·       Business processes, the associated (employee) risks, and mitigations.

·       Procedures, company rules, and personnel safety regulations insofar as they apply to the position.

As the ideal candidate for this painter position, you bring the following:

• Language Skills: Good command of either the Dutch or English language.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and follow technical work instructions accurately.
• Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience as a sprayer/painter (passionate hobbyists with relevant skills are also encouraged to apply!).
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with manual spray equipment and paint mixing installations.

As an aircraft painter, you are responsible for applying coatings and protective layers to landing gear components. You work according to established procedures and strict aviation standards. Your day is a perfect blend of craftsmanship and precision. You are responsible for the entire process:

• Preparation: Cleaning, degreasing, sanding, and high-precision masking of components.
• Spray Painting: Applying primers, topcoats, and anti-corrosion coatings using both manual and automated spray systems.
• Quality Control: Performing visual inspections and ensuring coatings meet all strict quality requirements.
• Documentation: Accurately recording all activities to ensure that safety and traceability are always guaranteed.
• Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues from the Inspection and Assembly departments.

Within the Surface Treatment department, you are the specialist who ensures that landing gear can withstand the toughest conditions. Whether you are working on brand-new components (New Build) or overhaul projects (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), you deliver craftsmanship according to the strictest aviation standards. Als ideale kandidaat voor deze functie als spuiter breng je het volgende mee:

• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse of Engelse taal.

Als spuiter ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aanbrengen van coatings en beschermlagen op onderdelen van landingsgestellen. Je werkt volgens vastgestelde procedures en luchtvaartstandaarden. Jouw dag is een combinatie van vakmanschap en precisie. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het gehele proces:

• Voorbereiding: Reinigen, ontvetten, schuren en uiterst nauwkeurig afplakken van onderdelen.
• Spuitwerk: Het aanbrengen van primers, laklagen en corrosiewerende coatings met zowel handmatige als geautomatiseerde installaties.
• Kwaliteitscontrole: Je voert visuele inspecties uit en controleert of de coatings voldoen aan de strikte eisen.
• Documentatie: Je legt je werkzaamheden nauwkeurig vast, zodat de veiligheid altijd gewaarborgd blijft.
• Samenwerken: Je schakelt veel met collega’s van de afdelingen Inspectie en Assemblage.
