For our site in Papendrecht, we are looking for a Safety Advisor with the specialism in environmental compliance to strengthen our HSE team. 

At our Papendrecht Campus we have three business lines, each of them have their own risks and challenges. As a compliance specialist, you have the task to advise your colleagues. It is your responsibility to review and analyze applicable law and regulations and to make sure that we meet the criteria now and in the future. The focus will be on water, air, soil, energy consumption and waste. You are able to find the right balance in solutions and you have a clear communication style, which helps us to be and stay compliant and also to reach our defines goals.

What you will do

• Policy formulation and organization
• developing and formulating the company's HSE policy in a team context
• implementing and securing the policy after approval
• following (international) laws and regulations with regard to the work area and advising the organization
• translating laws and regulations into internal procedures and guidelines and implementing these procedures

Environmental 

• performing (having performed) emission measurements and reports in a timely manner
• advising on other Environmental and Sustainability aspects
• coordinating and organizing actions in accordance with the HSE annual plan
• organizing, performing, recording and following up on audits with regard to operating conditions
• ensuring that all relevant information is registered and recorded in the data systems intended for this purpose conducting incident investigations and analyzing and handling incidents
• acting as a contact person and source of information for the internal organization and third parties  with regard to the field

• Periodically reporting to management regarding progress, prevention, incidents, project results, any deviations and causes
• Drawing up required (government) reports for external parties

HBO-Bachelor level. Preferably “Chemische Technologie” and/or “Milieukunde”

Knowledge of legislation and regulations

Strong in both written and verbal communication in Dutch and English.

Shape Safety Strategy

·       Co-develop and implement HSE policies across one business line, called aerostructures

·       Translate legislation into practical internal guidelines

·       Monitor legal compliance and provide expert advice

Assess & Improve Working Conditions

·       Conduct exposure assessments (chemicals, noise, vibrations)

·       Evaluate ergonomic risks and support diverse employee needs

·       Lead incident investigations and recommend preventive actions

Drive Action & Awareness

·       Plan and execute annual HSE activities (RI&E, audits, monitoring, PMO / PAGO)

·       Keep accurate safety data records and follow up on findings

·       Act as the go-to expert for internal teams and external regulators

Inform & Influence

·       Deliver regular updates to leadership on risks, trends, and progress

·       Prepare government reports and ensure transparent communication

What you'll bring:

·       HBO-Bachelor level.

·       Minimal completion MVK (Middelbare Veiligheidskunde). IVK (Integrale Veiligheidskunde) or HVK (Hogere Veiligheidskunde - NEBOSH) is an advantage.

·       General knowledge of occupational hygiene. Prepared to obtain a degree in Occupational Hygiene.

·       Legislation and regulations, in particular the Working Conditions Act.

·       Organizational policy about HSE.

Voor deze functie zoeken wij een logistiek medewerker die ervaring heeft met logistieke werkzaamheden. Daarnaast heb je sowieso de drive, passie en enthousiasme om je werk elke dag zo goed mogelijk te doen!
Je werkt accuraat en netjes, bent zelfstandig en je hoeft niet bij de hand genomen te worden.
Verder weet je van aanpakken en heb je zin om in een gezellig maar hardwerkend team te werken.

In deze functie zorg je ervoor dat alle bestellingen op tijd de deur uit gaan. Daarnaast zorg je voor een correcte administratieve afhandeling. Je ontvangt en controleert binnengekomen goederen en zorgt dat ze op de juiste plek worden opgeslagen. Ook het verwerken en oplossen van retouren behoort tot je werkzaamheden.

Op deze afdeling steek je graag je handen uit de mouwen. Je werkt nauwkeurig en heb je geen problemen om soms onder tijdsdruk te werken.

Je werkt in een hecht team van totaal 18 collega’s. Fijne, betrokken collega’s. Je overlegt dagelijks wat er moet gebeuren en gaat met elkaar aan de slag om het werk af te krijgen. Dit is een vlotte organisatie met korte lijntjes waar men blij wordt van nieuwe ideeën en een enthousiaste aanpak.
