You'll manage a team and ensure organizational goals are met. You'll do this by maintaining an efficient warehouse process using the LEAN and 5S methodologies.

As a temporary Supervisor at a large logistics company, you'll lead a team of 50 to 60 employees. You'll ensure that productivity targets are met. Your tasks will include:

• planning and controlling the work in the warehouse
• solving problems and adapting quickly during busy periods
• coaching and guiding your team
• implementing and enforcing 5S and LEAN principles
• ensuring the smooth completion of a contract that is ending

Als vrachtwagenchauffeur/belader begint je werkdag tussen 06:00 en 07:00 uur 's ochtends. Je begint de dag met een gezamenlijk kopje koffie met je collega's. Daarna ontvang je je dagelijkse werkrooster en ga je naar je vrachtwagen. Nadat je alles hebt gecontroleerd en in orde hebt bevonden, ben je klaar om op pad te gaan!

Gedurende de dag maak je verschillende stops om verschillende soorten afval te laden en te lossen. Gelukkig hoef je deze taken niet alleen uit te voeren, maar werk je gezellig samen met je collega. Samen zorgen jullie voor een efficiënte en plezierige werkdag.

Tussen 16:00 en 18:00 uur rond je je werkdag af en kijk je met een tevreden glimlach terug op de dag. Het is heerlijk om te weten dat je op tijd klaar bent en kunt genieten van je vrije avond. Werken als vrachtwagenchauffeur/belader biedt je een voldaan gevoel.

To keep the warehouse running, it is important that you as a Logistics employee meet the following requirements:

• You are willing to work in Oud Gastel;
• You are full-time available;
• You are available between 5:00 AM and 1:00 AM;
• You can speak Dutch and/or English;
• You have your own transport to get to work.

A new workday begins with a morning meeting where the day tasks are outlined. Your first job as a logistics employee is often to pack customer orders. This involves carefully selecting the items from the provided list and placing them in the right box. You must then securely seal the package and apply the correct shipping label, ensuring it reaches the right customer in the right country. After a productive morning, you take a break for lunch, either in the canteen or outdoors. The afternoon shifts to loading and unloading trucks. You will organize and place pallets into the correct outgoing trucks. Once that is complete, you will unload the incoming trucks, inspecting pallets and boxes for any damage before correctly storing them in the warehouse.
