As an innovation leader in the semiconductor industry, ASML strives to deliver top performance in the areas of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). With ambitious targets—including net-zero emissions across the value chain by 2040 and zero waste to landfill or incineration by 2030—ASML is strengthening the way it prevents, mitigates, and manages impacts on the environment and human rights throughout the entire supply chain.
To support this ambition, the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) ESG Sustainability team is seeking a Change & Communications Specialist (5-month maternity leave cover) to support the Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) program. This flagship program comprises over 10 projects focused on implementing due diligence practices and preparing the organization for regulatory requirements, such as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
In this role, you will drive adoption and engagement within the organization by leading structured change management, stakeholder engagement, and integrated communication and learning initiatives. You will act as a bridge between sustainability strategy and daily operations, ensuring clarity, alignment, and momentum.
Key Responsibilities
Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement
• Identify and map key internal stakeholders within Procurement, Sustainability, Supplier Account teams, and other involved departments.
• Develop targeted engagement and change strategies tailored to different roles, maturity levels, and business objectives.

• Clearly articulate what is changing, why it matters, and what is expected from various stakeholders and departments.
Communication and Engagement
• Design and implement a structured, multi-channel communication and engagement plan aligned with the RSC program roadmap.
• Develop clear, audience-tailored messaging that translates complex ESG and regulatory themes into practical business language.
• Coordinate communication channels and assets to ensure consistency and transparency across the organization.
• Gather feedback, measure engagement, and continuously refine messaging and approach to maximize impact.
• Prepare briefings, updates, and presentations for senior stakeholders and steering committee discussions.
Learning and Competence Development
• Design and implement an internal learning journey on responsible supply chain due diligence.
• Translate legal regulations and internal policies into accessible learning content and practical guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Learning & Knowledge Management department to develop effective learning formats (e-learning, workshops, toolkits, FAQs).
• Support the building of long-term organizational capacity, beyond just short-term awareness.
Collaboration and Governance
• Act as a liaison between the Sustainability, Procurement, Communication, and Learning teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Support governance and progress reporting by preparing structured updates and insights for decision-making forums.
