engineering solutions partner for all Philips clusters, businesses, functions, and markets, as well as for selected
external customers. The Connectivity Software, Test and Verification group is a group of highly experienced
and knowledgeable engineers specialized in providing high quality connectivity solutions. We work on
connectivity software in products ranging from Oral and Personal health care devices, connected defibrillators,
to connected health monitoring devices, and many, many more.
To fill the continuous demand of our customers, we are looking for an experienced mobile software engineer
who can support us in developing and releasing new connectivity solutions to our customers.
Your responsibilities …
We are looking for enthusiastic Senior Software Engineers who will be working globally with engineers in
Eindhoven, Bangalore, and various locations in the USA. As a Senior Software Engineer, you are responsible

 

• Driving cutting edge Multiplatform development
• Designing and implementing libraries in Swift and Kotlin for the connectivity platform
• Resolving the complexities of Multithreading and Concurrency
• Participating in requirements definition, design, implementation, testing, and release
• Assuring that your software complies to the requested quality norms
• Participating in design and code reviews, and participating in FMEAs
• Creating automated unit tests and integration tests within the chosen frameworks
• Supporting clients to integrate the latest platform features
• Able to estimate own work, delivering input for the planning process, maintain personal and team backlogs.
• Drawing up a personal schedule and reporting on progress in a structured way
• Ensuring that there is proper documentation for the developed software.

• A Bachelor or master’s degree, in software engineering / computer science
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in mobile SW development.
• You will be working in this context, so you have these skills or like to pick up these fast
• Developing native iOS components using Swift

• A good understanding of the different memory management approaches on iOS vs Android

As a Facilities & Maintenance Technician, you'll ensure the continuous availability of our systems and machinery and realize the technical advances essential to our success. As a Facilities & Maintenance Technician, you'll be the key player in keeping our EMEA distribution center operational and improving it. You'll be responsible for minimizing production downtime and maximizing output. You'll translate technical challenges into practical solutions and ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Your core responsibilities include:

Maintenance and Troubleshooting: You'll analyze and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions in our production equipment, such as PTL picking lines and packaging machines, labeling machines, and building-related installations (HVAC, plumbing).
Prevention and Optimization: You'll perform timely preventive maintenance and ensure consistent administrative processing. Preventing downtime is your most important mission.
Innovation and advice: You proactively initiate improvement proposals for our technical and building-related installations. You also advise on the purchase of new machinery and materials.
Coordination and support: You maintain contact with external suppliers and technicians, guide them through inspections and repairs, and ensure safety, hygiene, and correct execution.

• A completed vocational (MBO) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Demonstrable experience with PTL picking lines, labeling, and packaging machines, preferably within an FMCG environment.
• You hold a VCA certificate and the legally required certificates for working on electrical installations (NEN3140 Competent Person).
• Knowledge of and experience troubleshooting measurement and control technology, including HVAC systems. 
• You are able to speak Dutch (at least A2 level) and English at a professional level
• Yo are proficiant with MS Office.

Binnen dit dynamische speelveld zijn zij op zoek naar een proactieve en leergierige Junior Adviseur- Projectsecretaris Mobiliteit en Openbare Ruimte. Je komt terecht in het team van Manager Henk Visser en werkt nauw samen met collega's zoals Rene Riemensma, voorzitter van het Verkeers Advies Team. Je draagt bij aan de cruciale taken die de bereikbaarheid en leefbaarheid van Amsterdam waarborgen. Deze tijdelijke opdracht dient als vervanging.

Wat ga je doen?

Als Junior Adviseur Mobiliteit en Openbare Ruimte ben je een belangrijke schakel tussen beleid, analyse en uitvoering. Je belangrijkste taken zijn:

• Analyseren en Adviseren: Je beoordeelt concrete verkeerssituaties in de stad. Indien een kruispunt of situatie niet goed functioneert, draai je een eerste analyse om de oorzaak en mogelijke oplossingen te achterhalen.
• Maatregelen voorstellen: Je stelt concrete verbetermaatregelen voor en presenteert deze aan bewoners. Je staat hierbij open voor een brede blik en kunt ook andere stedelijke gebieden en belangen meenemen in je advies.
• Bestuurlijke Ondersteuning: Je adviseert collega’s, management en het bestuur over de meest wenselijke en uitvoerbare oplossing. Je kunt de 'waarom' achter een advies helder uitleggen, zelfs aan mensen die niet gespecialiseerd zijn in het vak.
• Documentatie en Communicatie: Je bent communicatief sterk en beschikt over uitstekende schrijfvaardigheid om je analyses en voorstellen helder en overtuigend vast te leggen.

Functie-eisen

• Je hebt affiniteit met mobiliteit en de inrichting van de openbare ruimte.
• Minimaal één jaar relevante werkervaring bij een gemeente of een adviesbureau dat zich bezighoudt met mobiliteit is gewenst. (pre)
• Een achtergrond in een mobiliteitsstudie of gerelateerde opleiding is een pre.

Je krijgt dus:

• 12 x je maandsalaris
• Een 13e maand die periodiek naar rato wordt uitgekeerd
• 8,33% vakantiegeld berekend over 12 maandsalarissen

• Minimaal een jaarcontract, waar we graag toewerken naar een onbepaalde tijdscontract
• Je krijgt altijd 100% van jouw salaris betaald gedurende jouw arbeidsovereenkomst
