About the Role
We are seeking a System Integration Engineer } Automotive to lead the integration of a new heavy-duty engine series with established transmission systems. Driven by upcoming Euro 7 emissions legislation, this role addresses complex technical challenges surrounding newly integrated transmissions, adapted clutches, and altered packaging configurations. You will play a pivotal coordination and technical lead role in bringing these core powertrain components into seamless alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed integration timelines for the engine, transmission, and clutch assembly.
- Coordinate and manage transmission and clutch release schedules aligned with both prototype build milestones and full serial production.
- Requirements and Risk Management:
-Monitor and track all compliance and functional requirements for the new engine program.
-Establish, execute, and oversee targeted technical risk-reduction tracks.
- Author and finalize critical engineering packages, including:
-Conducting Functional Requirements Specification (FRS) verification checks.
-Maintaining and resolving deviation tracking lists.
-Populating initial project performance scorecards.
-Developing Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Requirements Verification Plans (RVP).
- Stakeholder Management: Drive technical alignment between internal cross-functional teams and external system suppliers to ensure all project targets are met.
- Status Reporting: Provide clear, bi-weekly progress and development updates to senior project management.

Functie-eisen
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in powertrain system integration (engine, transmission, clutch systems).
- Strong familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., Euro 7) and engineering quality tools (DFMEA, RVP, FRS).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical interfaces and supplier relationships.
