Binnen de afdeling Underwater Operations & Seabed Security richt jij je op toegepast onderzoek voor de Koninklijke Marine en het Ministerie van Defensie. Als Scientist Underwater Communications ontwikkel je innovatieve oplossingen voor maritieme veiligheid, mijnenbestrijding en de bescherming van kritieke infrastructuur op de zeebodem. Samen met jouw projectteam til je akoestische sensoren en datalagen naar een hoger niveau.

In deze rol als Scientist Underwater Communications ga je aan de slag met:

• Optimaliseren van algoritmes voor akoestische en optische onderwatercommunicatie binnen de verschillende OSI-lagen.
• Verbeteren van de netwerkcommunicatie tussen autonome onderwaterdrones en sensornodes.
