As a Mechanical Development Engineer within Philips Innovation Engineering, you have the unique opportunity to work on the frontline of healthcare innovation. You will be part of the Product and System Engineering department, where you will translate complex, high-level concepts into detailed, high-tech mechanical solutions.

Working under the guidance of a Senior Technical Lead, you will bridge the gap between "the idea" and "the product." You will be responsible for the mechanical detailing of subsystems, ensuring they are ready for scale-up and volume production. This is a multi-disciplinary role where you will collaborate closely with experts in electronics, software, and thermal dynamics to create life-changing medical equipment and manufacturing systems.

Education: A BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in innovative product development (experience with medical devices or imaging systems is a major plus).
Software Skills: Proficiency in 3D CAD, specifically PTC Creo Parametric. Experience with Windchill (PDM/cPLM) is highly preferred.
Technical Documentation: Proven ability to translate global designs into detailed technical documentation, including Service Manuals, Assembly Instructions, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of medical safety standards (IEC-60601, ISO13485) and design controls/risk management.
