For our Global Sales Director and team we are on the lookout for a best in class assistant. Your role is vital to make sure the Global Sales Director you are supporting are able to do his job the best, by support him with various operational tasks. Which means, you are able to provide the professional support of this leadership role in a comprehensive and confidential way. The based position of this role is in our Amsterdam office
The support you will provide is organizing & maintaining agendas, appointments, team meetings and travel arrangements, both on-site and for international events. Additionally, you will manage the expenses of the individuals that you support. During these activities you will handle confidential information, therefore sensitivity to discretion is essential. Intermittently, you will play an active role in the coordination of functional events. Furthermore you will handle to POs of the team.
The general atmosphere is result driven, dynamic, informal with a down to earth mentality.
Key Responsibilities
- Calendar management of the Global Sales Director
- Making travel arrangements (can be very complex at some times)
- Organizing functional events
- Handle expenses for Global Sales Director
- Handle Po's
- Depending on experience also keep global sales internal website up to date
Functie-eisen
For this role as an Management Assistant, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- At least 6 years of solid experience in management support, including full control of Outlook and broad experience with complex international travelling schedules
- You are open to change, flexible and stress resilient
- Highly committed to the job and your team, willing to walk the extra mile
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, on every level within the organization
- Fluent proficiency in English (other languages being a bonus)
- Wanting to be part of an ambitious and hardworking team
- Providing the highest degree of customer service and making the live of the ones you support a little bit easier is what gives you energy
- Although you do have a service oriented mind set, you also are able to stand your ground and prioritize independently
Competenties
Other skills:
- Adaptability: Ability to effectively handle a dynamic, changing, and sometimes unpredictable work environment.
- Eagerness to learn: Openness to quickly learning new tasks and systems.
Technical skills / Systems:
- Experience with PO (Purchase Order) creation.
- Experience with or knowledge of SharePoint.
Availability: Available immediately or at very short notice.

Hours: 24 hours a week
Salary: minimum € 3.600,- (fulltime)
