As a Financial Controller at SABIC, you hold a crucial role within the Europe Controllership team. You are responsible for the full financial reporting of the European legal entities. You switch effortlessly between local GAAP guidelines and IFRS standards. In this dynamic environment, you advise the wider finance community and safeguard the quality of statutory financial statements. What will you do?
You are the specialist who ensures a flawless financial closing. Without your dedication, sharp analyses and compliant reports for internal and external stakeholders would be missing.
- You prepare statutory financial statements under local GAAP and consolidated reports under IFRS.
- You coordinate external audits and monitor the reconciliations between different reporting standards.
- You analyze monthly and quarterly figures and present these to Global Controllership.
- You identify and implement opportunities to optimize systems and processes for financial reporting.
Functie-eisen
- You hold an academic degree in accounting or finance
- You bring at least 7 years of relevant work experience in an international environment
- You have in-depth knowledge of IFRS, Dutch GAAP, and SAP S/4
- You have a good knowledge of the English language, knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus

You are a driven finance professional with sharp analytical skills. You communicate persuasively at various levels and know how to engage stakeholders in complex matters.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- A salary between € 5800,- and € 7000,- per month based on 40 hours a week
- A year contract starting from april 2026 untill the end of march 2027, 40 hours per week
- A monthly Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 10.66% of your salary that you can use flexibly
