Logistic worker

In this all-round position, you will combine general warehouse duties with operating a forklift. You will start on a temporary basis through Randstad, with the explicit goal of being taken over directly onto a fixed contract by DSV. To keep logistics running smoothly, as a logistics employee you must meet these requirements:

• Experience: You have at least 1 year of experience working in a logistics environment.
• Certificates: You hold a valid forklift certificate (heftruck) and have proven experience driving one.
• Language: You speak either good English or Dutch (both languages are perfectly acceptable).
• Physically Fit: You are capable of performing physical tasks (lifting up to 15 kg, which is always done together in team-up fashion).
• Mindset: You are a flexible worker with good spatial insight and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
• Availability: You are available to start immediately on a full-time basis (40 hours per week) and are flexible with your working hours.

As a logistics employee, you are indispensable. Within the warehouse you will join a tight-knit team of 25 people. Your day is highly varied: about 20% of the time you will be operating the forklift, while the rest of the day is filled with small-scale order picking, packing, and sorting. You use your insight to keep the warehouse running smoothly!

• Forklift operations (20% of your work)
• Order picking and packing
• Scanning and inventory checks
• Investigating stock discrepancies
