Eurail is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team as a technical agent. This role focuses on providing first-line support for escalated technical issues. As an IT Support Engineer, you will enjoy a hybrid work model that combines remote work with office days at their Utrecht location, conveniently situated just minutes from Utrecht Centraal Station.

International employer in the travel industry

3200-4000 per month based on full time

24-32 hours available per week

Office next to Utrecht Central Station

€800 yearly personal allowance

You are a proactive, hands-on IT Support Engineer and the friendly, visible face of IT around the office. You possess a strong blend of technical troubleshooting skills and excellent interpersonal communication, allowing you to easily guide and educate employees on complex internal tools or step in as a calm first responder during urgent technical issues. As a dedicated IT Support Engineer, you focus on elevating the internal user experience and keeping day-to-day operations running flawlessly.

Additionally, you are:

  • Detail oriented and have great problem-solving skills;
  • Equipped with good Windows, macOS, and iOS troubleshooting and support skills;
  • A great mulitasker.

In your role as an IT Support Engineer, some of your daily tasks will be:

  • Provide IT support via Zendesk, Microsoft Teams, and face-to-face interactions;
  • Support onboarding of new employees, including IT setup, account provisioning, and new hire orientation;
  • Deliver reliable IT support for company events and live video conferences, ensuring everything runs smoothly;
  • Assisting with hardware replacements and device refreshes.
