To keep the warehouse running smoothly, it is important that you, as a reach truck driver, meet the following requirements:

• You are willing to work in Schiedam
• You have your own transport
• You are available full-time to work in a two-shift system
• You are able to work in a chilled environment (4°C) or a freezer (-24°C)
• You speak Dutch or English
• You have demonstrable experience operating a reach truck
• You are available to start within a month

As a reach truck driver at Bidfood, it is important that you have experience and a strong focus on safety. You are looking for a full-time, long-term position. Since you will be working shifts, having your own transport is essential. You are flexible and comfortable working in the freezer (-24°C), the cold storage area (4°C), and at room temperature (18°C). Furthermore, as a reach truck driver, you ensure that picking locations in the warehouse remain well-stocked. You place goods delivered by suppliers in the correct warehouse locations and strictly adhere to safety regulations. In doing so, you support your colleagues who are picking and preparing orders for shipment. Thanks to you, the warehouse remains tidy and organized.

• Operating the reach truck: Safely maneuvering the reach truck within the warehouse to place goods in or retrieve them from the correct locations
• Loading and unloading goods: Stacking goods at height using the reach truck and carefully moving pallets
• Inventorying goods: Checking stock levels and tracking product locations on racking, sometimes using a scanner or other inventory management system

Bidfood is a wholesaler in the foodservice industry. It has 16 branches in the Netherlands and 1,700 employees. Bidfood supplies fresh products to 25,000 customers throughout the Netherlands.
