As a Senior Assortment Planner, you will serve as the Marketplace Unit (MPU) Lead across multiple forums, coordinating and consolidating key deliverables for the NMP team.
In this role, you will collaborate with a vast network of teams, including Sales, Finance, Sports & Business Planning, and S&IM, to turn data into powerful, profitable assortment strategies.

You will bring:
- Retail planning experience: Minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated experience in assortment/retail planning, with a strong grasp of financial, product, and inventory planning.
- Growth mindset: Ready to leverage statistical forecasting, data science, and modern ways of working to develop fact-based, future-proof plans.
- Critical analytical thinking: Ability to analyze large data sets, understand data potential, and accurately quantify any gaps between product potential and the financial plan.

- Autonomous problem solver: Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of working independently and taking full ownership of deliverables.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Seasonal plan development: Develop, inform, and influence seasonal plans based on a rolling SSP (including retail sales value/units, receipts, and inventory) at the Franchise/Merch Class x Sports x Marketplace unit levels.
- OTB & strategy ownership: Own the product-driven Open-to-Buy (OTB) forecast to inform manufacturing decisions through to in-season optimization, driving strategies to meet Sports Offense strategic and financial goals.
- Business analysis & optimization: Analyze weekly and monthly business performance against plans and forecasts. Assess risks and opportunities, develop action plans, and drive necessary escalations.
- Inventory health management: Set and manage end-to-end inventory health within and across categories and NMP MPUs, while understanding the broader impact on overall marketplace health.
- Cross-functional leadership: Communicate and advocate the Assortment Plan to the cross-functional leadership team. Partner closely with Sales to optimize sell-in aligned with the MPU strategy.
- Project management: Independently drive and prioritize projects, workloads, and key deliverables within the team.
You will be based at Nike's inspiring European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, a dynamic campus that reflects the values of the brand. Nike offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
