- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in finance or FP&A.
- Technical skills: Advanced expertise in Excel (including financial modeling) and Power Query. Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualization is required.
- Key capabilities: Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex insights clearly to senior audiences.
You will operate at the heart of Nike's financial rhythm, taking ownership of critical deliverables while influencing forward-looking business decisions. You will report to the Stores Finance Senior Manager and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across the Stores organization and broader business teams. As a senior member of the team, you will serve as a key point of contact, driving consistency, alignment, and credibility across the board. Your main responsibilities include:
- Month-end close & reporting: Lead month-end close activities, deliver insightful performance commentary, and own the financial narrative for leadership.
- Financial planning: Own key aspects of the forecasting and budgeting cycles, driving alignment and challenging assumptions to ensure robust submissions.
- Business partnering: Act as a trusted finance partner to cross-functional stakeholders, influencing business decisions through data-driven storytelling.
- Analysis & innovation: Conduct complex ad-hoc analyses on strategic topics and drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
You will be based at Nike's inspiring European Headquarters (EHQ) in Hilversum, a dynamic campus that reflects the values of the brand. Nike offers a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days from home).
