As the ideal candidate for this painter position, you bring the following:

  • Language Skills: Good command of either the Dutch or English language.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to understand and follow technical work instructions accurately.
  • Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience as a sprayer/painter (passionate hobbyists with relevant skills are also encouraged to apply!).
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with manual spray equipment and paint mixing installations.
  • Precision: A high degree of accuracy and experience working with strict procedures and safety regulations.

As an aircraft painter, you are responsible for applying coatings and protective layers to landing gear components. You work according to established procedures and strict aviation standards. Your day is a perfect blend of craftsmanship and precision. You are responsible for the entire process:

  • Preparation: Cleaning, degreasing, sanding, and high-precision masking of components.
  • Spray Painting: Applying primers, topcoats, and anti-corrosion coatings using both manual and automated spray systems.
  • Quality Control: Performing visual inspections and ensuring coatings meet all strict quality requirements.
  • Documentation: Accurately recording all activities to ensure that safety and traceability are always guaranteed.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues from the Inspection and Assembly departments.

Within the Surface Treatment department, you are the specialist who ensures that landing gear can withstand the toughest conditions. Whether you are working on brand-new components (New Build) or overhaul projects (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), you deliver craftsmanship according to the strictest aviation standards.
