Logistics specialist (Mandarin speaking)

In this role, you will ensure that the cooperation with external logistics partners runs flawlessly. You will work in an international environment that is constantly evolving.

You are a driven professional with a sharp eye for detail. You think in solutions and can easily switch between different parties. With your logistical knowledge, you know exactly how to organize a warehouse efficiently and how to keep the inventory reliable.

• you have a bachelor's degree in an economic or logistical field
• you have at least three years of experience in managing warehouse operations
• you have knowledge of warehouse management systems and process improvement methods
• you have experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Lean Warehouse operations, and Project Management
• you speak and write excellent Mandarin and English plus have a positive attitude

As a Logistics Specialist, you are responsible for supervising the daily operations in the warehouse. You do not perform physical work yourself, but you manage the external partners who carry out the tasks. You check whether they stick to the agreements and whether the system data matches the physical stock.

• you monitor the performance of suppliers regarding receiving and shipping
• you organize inventory counts and analyze any differences
• you manage costs and continuously look for ways to improve the warehouse layout
• you arrange the transport of materials between different locations and factories
