Managing the warehouse team is central to the role. Working alongside colleagues, the picking and shipping of books runs smoothly. Extra effort is required, especially during the summer peak, to ensure a streamlined process. ☀️ On-the-job coaching is a daily occurrence, with a sharp focus on results. Creating a positive work atmosphere is the top priority.
Even during the busiest times, you maintain a clear overview. Bottlenecks are resolved immediately by responding quickly and effectively. Additionally, there is plenty of room for your own input to make operational processes even more efficient. Accurate and complete record-keeping rounds out the picture and ensures that operations run flawlessly.
At VanDijk, you’ll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.
There’s a large terrace where you can relax in the sun during breaks. There’s also a cafeteria with delicious sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! A free bus runs to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you’ll get to meet lots of new people!
