What are we looking for in a new team leader? The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

• you perform well under pressure
• you are resilient and able to adapt quickly
• you are a natural team leader with experience in similar roles
• you are available full-time during the months of June, July, and August
• you are able to quickly learn new systems

Managing the warehouse team is a key responsibility. Working alongside colleagues, the process of picking and shipping books runs smoothly. That extra effort is especially needed during the busy summer season to ensure a streamlined process. 📚 On-the-job coaching is a daily occurrence, with a sharp focus on the set goals. Throughout all these activities, maintaining a positive and motivating work atmosphere is always the top priority.

In addition, the following tasks are part of the role:

• adapt quickly during busy periods and resolve bottlenecks immediately;
• actively contribute ideas for improving operational processes;
• ensure accurate and complete record-keeping.

At VanDijk, you’ll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.

There’s a large terrace where you can relax in the sun during breaks. There’s also a cafeteria with delicious sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! A free bus runs to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you’ll get to meet lots of new people!
