For a fast-growing, international player in the construction equipment industry in Dordrecht, we are looking for a driven Back-Office Assistant. For this specific role, we are looking for a candidate who is fluent in English and also speaks both Dutch and Mandarin.

In this role, you are the indispensable link in the administrative handling of spare parts. We are not just looking for someone to perform daily tasks, but someone who takes ownership and helps us take our processes to the next level.

€3000 - €3400 gross p/m (40 hours per week).

You are a meticulous organizer who loves structure but also thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You are critical of current workflows and enjoy coming up with improvement proposals.

  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Dutch and/or Mandarin is a major advantage.
  • Must have own transport (car/scooter) due to location accessibility.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with excellent administrative accuracy.
  • Experience in spare parts, logistics, or technical customer service preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP systems (SAP experience is a
  • plus).
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and process-minded approach.

As a Back-Office Assistant, you support the daily operational processes surrounding our spare parts. You are the pivot between customers, suppliers, and the warehouse.

  • Use your language skills (English, Dutch, and Mandarin) to liaise between customers, local teams, and international suppliers.
  • Process sales orders, quotations, and backorders accurately within the ERP system.
  • Manage shipping documentation for deliveries and returns, and track inbound shipments from suppliers.
  • Keep parts master data (pricing, descriptions, and technical info) up to date.
  • Track stock levels to ensure availability while avoiding overstock.
  • Identify bottlenecks in daily operations and help implement more structured, efficient ways of working.
  • Occasional walking, standing, or lifting (up to 25 kg) when handling parts or packaging.
