As a customer service agent at Eurail, you always do your best to help travelers from around the world. You combine a friendly attitude with professional skills. Are you a great communicator who can understand what a traveler truly needs? If you are good at turning difficult or confusing questions into simple, helpful answers that make people feel at ease, then we are looking for you to join our growing team.
By taking on this important role as a customer service agent, you will help every traveler have a great trip with personal care and attention. You also:
- Have excellent writing and speaking skills in English;
- Are accurate, with a keen eye for detail;
- Have a valid work permit in the Netherlands, a BSN, an IBAN, and you are currently residing in the Netherlands;
- Are available to start with the training on the 13h of April;
- Have no holiday plans in the months: June, July and August.
Working as a customer service agent at Eurail, you handle traveler inquiries via email and live chat. You are essential to ensuring that every passenger enjoys a seamless and pleasant trip.
Being a talented writer who is comfortable using various chat platforms and digital software is a must. Your ability to type quickly and accurately allows you to provide fast, effective support.
To get you ready for this position, you will join a 32-hour training course beginning February 23rd. This program lasts 2.5 weeks. You need to be available during day shifts to master our systems and discover everything about European train travel as a customer service agent.

You will work with a diverse group of 50 international teammates who speak more than 10 different languages. We follow a hybrid way of working: you can stay home half the time or work at our stylish office in Utrecht. To help you plan your life easily, you will receive your schedule four weeks ahead of time. We are looking for a customer service agent who is happy to work the occasional weekend to help us provide excellent, around-the-clock support.
- You're available to work flexible shifts Monday through Sunday;
- We guarantee 16 hours per week, but during the high season you can work a lot more;
- You're available to work at least 16 hours during weekend days per month;
- We offer you a temporary job until the end of August;
- We also cover your public transportation travel expenses and offer a nice bonus for working in the evenings.
