In the dynamic environment of a large multi-client warehouse, there is one constant factor: the Logistics Team Leader. Are you a natural leader who can effortlessly balance client interests, targets, and human capital? At DSV ’s-Heerenberg, we don’t just offer you a job; we offer a stage to prove your leadership. We are looking for a captain who takes ownership, understands processes inside out, and elevates a team of 15 to 30 professionals to the next level.

who you are

You are an inspirer who doesn’t just look at what needs to be done, but at how we can do it better. You have courage, command natural authority, and bring the following to the table:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of proven leadership experience within 3PL (multi-client) logistics.
  • Communication: Fluent in English, both written and spoken (our primary language on the floor).
  • Mindset: A bridge-builder who inspires employees to exceed departmental goals.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in 2 shifts (06:00-15:00 / 15:00-00:00).

what will you do

As a Logistics Team Leader, you are the link between the Supervisor and the warehouse floor. You don't just manage numbers; you manage people. Your day consists of:

  • Leadership: Coaching and motivating 15 to 30 colleagues as their primary point of contact.
  • Coordination: Allocating daily tasks based on KPIs and client targets.
  • Optimization: Identifying deviations and providing input for improvement projects (LEAN).
  • Safety: Ensuring strict compliance with legal and safety regulations.
  • All-round focus: Switching effortlessly between inbound and outbound processes.
