As a warehouse worker, you meet the following requirements:

• you must be at least 16 years old
• you must be available for at least 3 weeks between weeks 28 and 35
• you must be available to work 24–40 hours per week
• you must be physically fit; lifting and stacking boxes is no problem for you

A workday as a warehouse associate starts off full of energy. Together with a friendly team, you head to the department where you’re scheduled to work. Your team leader is already waiting for you there. Together, you discuss what needs to be done that day. Is order picking on the agenda? Then it’s a physical challenge to gather all the right books using a handheld scanner. In the packing department, book packages are processed at lightning speed and prepared for shipment. With all that movement, a gym membership is practically unnecessary! 💪

From week 28 through week 35, we work in a two-shift system. One week, the day starts early with the morning shift. The next week, you have plenty of free time in the morning thanks to the afternoon shift. This leaves you with plenty of time for other fun plans alongside your work! 🚀

The work hours are as follows:

Morning shift: 7:00 AM – 2:45 PM
Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM – 10:45 PM

At VanDijk, you’ll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.

There’s a large terrace where you can relax in the sun during your break. There’s also a cafeteria with delicious sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! A free bus runs to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you’ll get to meet lots of new people along the way!
