As a senior financial expert, are you ready to bridge the strategic gap between commercial goals and production for a leading international dairy cooperative? At FrieslandCampina in Amersfoort, you will transform the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process from 'volume-driven' to 'value-driven'. You are the proactive business partner who doesn't stay in the background, but actively contributes, builds, and drives profitability across the entire value chain.

As a Senior S&OP Controller, you are the key financial connector within FrieslandCampina's matrix organization. Operating from the head office in Amersfoort, you will be part of the central S&OP controlling team (Global Plan & Deliver Finance). Your objective? To support and back financial decision-making around the balance between Demand (Go-to-Market / Sales) and Supply (Make / Production Plants). In doing so, you help align inventory levels, plant capacity, and service levels to maximize the value of raw milk (valorization).

Your core responsibilities:

• From Volume to Value: You translate planning volumes and weight metrics into clear financial scenario analyses, driving maximum value and profitability.
• Create One Version of the Truth: You ensure all stakeholders – from commercial and supply chain controllers to plant controllers – base their decisions on the exact same datasets and forecasts.
• Strategic Advisory & Constructive Challenge: You constructively challenge the central planning team and planning hubs to optimize efficiency, capacity utilization, and working capital.
• Process Improvement & Automation: You lead initiatives to simplify ways of working, drive digitization projects, and roll out new reporting methodologies.
• Global Reporting: You manage monthly data consolidation and financial reporting for global S&OP meetings.

Functie-eisen

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or S&OP Controlling.
• Recent and proven experience within the FMCG, Food, or Dairy sector.
• Solid experience with financial scenario modeling, forecasting, capacity analysis, and inventory management.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP and reporting tools like SAP, HFM (Hyperion), Adaptive, or Power BI is a strong plus.
• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written (Dutch is a plus).
• Availability for a hybrid working structure (at least 2 days per week at the head office in Amersfoort, 38 hours per week).

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Competitive Salary: A gross monthly salary of up to €5,500 (based on a 38-hour workweek). Note: Our secondary benefits are calculated on a 40-hour basis.
• Contract: A temprary contract until April 30, 2027 (38 hours per week).
