We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner who combines sharp analytical skills with operational excellence to balance demand, supply, and inventory for a massive 14-million-ton annual volume.
In this pivotal role within the European Planning & Optimization team, your mission is to ensure a seamless supply chain while maximizing revenue and minimizing costs. This interim assignment is scheduled from April 27, 2026, until September 30, 2026. You will navigate effortlessly between long-term Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and the high-speed dynamics of daily operations. Your time will be split evenly: 50% focused on Senior Scheduling for Supply & Inventory—translating S&OP outcomes into concrete production plans—and 50% as a Demand Planner & Analyst, developing 18-month rolling forecasts and collaborating with international stakeholders, including key counterparts in Saudi Arabia.

To succeed in this challenging environment, you bring a proven track record in supply chain management and a resilient personality. You meet the following success factors:
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, preferably within a multinational or chemical environment.
- You possess advanced proficiency in SAP and APO; experience with Power BI and simulation tools (APS) is a significant advantage.
- You are fluent in English (required); proficiency in Dutch is a strong asset.
- You have a basic understanding of chemical processes and are willing to travel occasionally to the UK or Saudi Arabia.

As a Senior Supply Chain Planner you are a team player who communicates effectively across all organizational levels. You make data-driven decisions under pressure and have a natural talent for solving complex logistical puzzles. You will work closely with three direct colleagues in Geleen and six indirect colleagues within the Polymers division.
