As a forklift driver at McCain Foods, you must meet the following requirements:
- You speak Dutch or English.
- You possess a valid forklift certificate and at least one year of experience.
- You have your own transport (car, scooter, or bicycle).
- You are willing to work in an environment of around 7 degrees.
- You are available for shift work, where you work 2 morning, 2 afternoon, and 2 night shifts (07:00-15:00, 15:00-23:00, or 23:00-07:00), followed by a lovely 4 days off.
You start your shift in the impressive cold room, where it is refreshingly cold (around 7 degrees). Don't worry, you will of course be provided with protective clothing! During your shift, you skillfully drive around to place frozen fries and potato flakes in the right spot. You check goods and help keep production running by moving products efficiently.
- Store approved finished products with your forklift.
- Mixing in finished product from bulk stock.
- Monitor the operation of the sorting machines.
- Check your forklift at the beginning and end of the shift.
You will be working at McCain Foods, the international global market leader in frozen potato products! It is a huge company with more than 50 factories worldwide, but on the shop floor, it feels personal and manageable. You will work in a close-knit team of three forklift drivers and one lead driver, managed by a team leader.
