Accountant Payable accounts

It's a fulltime position for the period of 3 months. There is a chance for extension but this is depending on the overall work.

We are looking for a detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills and a solid accounting background.
Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in an Accounts Payable role.
• Software Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency in Dutch is preferred).
• Work Style: Exceptionally organized, proactive, and ready to work full-time in-office (5 days a week).

As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be the backbone of our financial operational flow. You will manage end-to-end invoice processing, vendor payments, and financial reconciliations, keeping our processes accurate and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Management: Receive, verify, and code invoices accurately against purchase orders, receipts, and appropriate cost centers.
• Vendor Relations: Process timely payments, maintain up-to-date vendor records, and serve as the main point of contact to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting & Audits: Assist with monthly financial reports, cash flow forecasts, payment ageing reports, and support internal/external audits.
• Month-End Closing: Handle monthly amortization of prepaid expenses, month-end accruals, and vendor statement reconciliations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Procurement, HR, Marketing, and internal stakeholders to streamline operations and resolve expense discrepancies.
