Order picker, full-time

Hi! CEVA Logistics in Nieuwegein is looking for motivated go-getters for the position of order picker! Do you enjoy working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same? To keep the warehouse running, it is important that you, as an order picker, meet the following requirements:

• You are 18 years or older
• You speak Dutch or English
• You are physically able to lift boxes up to 20 kilos if necessary
• You are willing to work in Nieuwegein
• You are available full-time
• You are available for the day shift
• You are available for the afternoon shift

You start the day off in a friendly atmosphere with a kick-off with the entire team. Afterwards, you immediately get to work in the Bouwmaat warehouse using an EPT. You work in two different departments. On the one hand, you collect and check orders for Bouwmaat stores throughout the Netherlands, and neatly organize newly arrived products. On the other hand, you process online orders from construction companies. Because these building materials go directly outdoors onto the construction site, you wrap them extra carefully in foil to make them completely waterproof. Finally, you efficiently prepare all orders for shipment so that the trucks can depart on time.

• Picking orders with the EPT: You drive an electric pallet truck through the warehouse and accurately collect all orders for the stores and the webshop
• Packing and waterproofing: You securely wrap online orders in foil so that the building materials on the construction site are well protected against rain
• Processing goods: You prepare the orders for transport and neatly place newly arrived products in their designated spots on the shelves
