For FedEx in Duiven, we are looking for a warehouse worker for the night shifts. Therefore, you recognize yourself in the following points:
- You are at least 18 years old, due to working with machinery
- You are available 2 to 3 nights per week
- You are available to work night shifts on Mondays and Fridays
- You speak English or Dutch
As a warehouse worker, you will be working the night shift.
On Monday, you will start by unloading trailers filled with postal parcels. You will stack the incoming parcels onto the conveyor belt in the correct way. If you spot any damages, you set them aside and report them to your supervisor. On another day, you and a colleague will be loading a container. Thanks to the large automated sorting system, these parcels arrive at the correct trailer straight from the conveyor belt. Scanning and stacking away! You will be handling packages of various shapes and sizes. Are you good with a scanner? Then you and a colleague will be scanning and stacking parcels at the conveyor belt. Working accurately is key here, as you will be stacking for several different destinations. No two days have to be the same!
- Loading and unloading trailers by hand;
- Moving goods internally using a trolley or EPT (Electric Pallet Truck);
- Sorting parcels and shipments;
- Scanning parcels;
- Contributing to the overall work process.
