Mail sorter

Hi! Do you want to earn up to €29.42 per hour? At PostNL The Hague, as a mail sorter, you'll roll up your sleeves in a dynamic environment. We are looking for go-getters who are physically fit (lifting up to 30 kg) and available to work flexibly on Monday and Friday evenings/nights, plus Saturdays during the day. Because we value a healthy work-life balance in accordance with the Working Hours Act (ATW), you will work an average of 3 night shifts per week —ideal as a valuable side job or part-time challenge!

To keep the warehouse in The Hague running, it is important that you, as a mail sorter, meet the following requirements:

• Flexible availability between Monday and Saturday. 📅
• You speak Dutch or English. 🗣️
• You are physically able to lift up to 30 kg. 💪
• You are willing to work in The Hague. 📍
• You are available full-time or part-time. 💼
• You are 18 years or older. 🎂

As a mail sorter, you are the engine of the sorting process. You ensure that every package reaches the right customer on time. Your range of duties is nice and varied:

• Working at a fast pace: You unload roll containers quickly and ensure a continuous flow of incoming packages.
• Sharp sorting: Whether manually or using modern machines, you guide every package flawlessly to the correct sorting belt.
• Accurate registration: Using the handheld scanner, you register packages in the PostNL system so the recipient knows exactly where the package is.
• Preparing for shipment: You efficiently build roll containers and get them ready for transport to their next destination.
• Workplace management: Together with your team, you keep the workplace tidy and organized, because a clean warehouse makes working safer and faster.

• The PostNL warehouse is located at Loire 1 in The Hague.
• Good working atmosphere with an acceptable workload.
• Travel allowance of €0.22 per km, starting from 6 km.
• Working hours: Monday and Friday evening and night shifts (15:06 - 23:00 or 23:00 - 05:00/05:40/05:54) and on Saturdays between 07:30 and 17:54.
