As a warehouse associate, you must meet the following requirements:
- you are looking for a summer job
- you are physically fit; lifting and stacking boxes is no problem for you
- you are at least 16 years old
- you are available for at least 3 weeks between weeks 28 and 35
- you are available for 24–40 hours per week on a two-shift schedule
There’s plenty of action in the warehouse this summer. The day starts with a team meeting. The team leader explains the schedule and goals. Tasks alternate between picking books with a handheld scanner and packing packages in our packing department. There’s plenty of movement on the shop floor all day long. This is great for staying in shape and replaces the gym! 🏃♂️
The work is done in a two-shift system. The early shift runs from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM. This leaves the entire afternoon free for your own plans. The late shift starts at 3:00 PM and ends at 10:45 PM. These hours offer a good balance between work, free time, and socializing! 🚀
At VanDijk, you’ll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.
There’s a large terrace where you can relax in the sun during your break. There’s also a cafeteria with delicious sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! A free bus runs to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you’ll get to meet lots of new people along the way!
