As a warehouse associate, you must meet the following requirements:
- you are looking for a summer job
- you are physically fit; lifting and stacking boxes is no problem for you
- you are at least 16 years old
- you are available for at least 3 weeks between weeks 28 and 35
- you are available for 24–40 hours per week on a two-shift schedule
So what does your workday look like? There’s plenty to do in the warehouse this summer. You start the day with your team. The team leader explains the plan. One day you’ll be picking up books, the next you’ll be packing boxes. You’ll be walking and moving around a lot. That’s great for your fitness! 🏃♂️
You’ll work in a two-shift rotation. The early shift runs from 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM, leaving the afternoon completely free. The late shift runs from 3:00 PM to 10:45 PM. That way, there’s always plenty of time for fun activities and friends! 🚀
At VanDijk, you’ll be working in the warehouse of one of the largest schoolbook suppliers in the Netherlands. All schoolbooks for high school students are shipped from Kampen.
There’s a large terrace where you can relax in the sun during your break. There’s also a cafeteria with delicious sandwiches. Transportation? Taken care of! A free bus runs to and from Kampen. And the best part is that you’ll get to meet lots of new people along the way!
