As a Buyer, you will act as a crucial link between global supply networks and internal engineering teams to secure high-value contracts and optimize strategic supply chain performance.
In this position, you manage the end-to-end procurement and sourcing journey. From analyzing detailed technical specifications to leading tenders and complex negotiations, you ensure that every product and service aligns with strategic demands, cost targets, and strict compliance standards. Working closely with cross-functional project teams and key operational stakeholders, you help shape and implement global commodity strategies for assigned portfolios.
Your key activities:
• Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, including demand analysis, tendering, negotiations, contracting, and supplier awards.
• Process purchase requisitions efficiently while adding necessary technical and commercial information.
• Implement regional and global commodity strategies to support the overall sourcing roadmap.
• Identify and evaluate regional and global suppliers for sub-commodities, semi-finished products, and service portfolios across business units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and technical owners to discuss and analyze complex technical specifications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to sustain an effective procurement network.
• Support strategic sourcing through audits, market research, price analysis, problem resolution, and supplier visit preparation.
Functie-eisen
- Qualification in procurement management, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience in a similar procurement position within an international, industrial environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of materials, components, and equipment specific to the wind energy sector.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
- To be successful in this role, you possess strong analytical skills and a decisive approach to negotiations and supplier relationship management.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
• A competitive gross monthly salary up to € 5,700 based on a 40-hour work week.
• A contract for the duration of the assignment, for now 9 months.
• An individual choice budget (IKB) of 8.76% of your salary for flexible use.
• 25 vacation days per year based on a 40-hour work week, with the option to use 5 days within the IKB budget.
• 8.33% holiday allowance.
• Excellent travel allowance: 100% public transport coverage or € 0.23 per kilometer.
