As Holding Controller Europe, you represent the shareholder function on behalf of Siemens Energy for affiliated companies across the European region. You act as the key strategic liaison between corporate equity owners and local executive management teams, safeguarding capital efficiency, corporate governance, and sustainable equity returns.
Your core responsibilities and strategic impact:
- Shareholder Representation & Governance: Exercise full legal and operational owner rights and obligations for European subsidiaries on behalf of Siemens Energy, representing corporate interests directly to executive board management.
- Capital Structure & Portfolio Optimization: Analyze financial key performance indicators and balance sheet structures to design, optimize, and execute strategic shareholding models and ensure strict compliance with corporate dividend policies.
- M&A Workstream Leadership: Lead critical corporate finance workstreams during complex carve-outs, business integrations, company foundations, mergers, and liquidations within M&A transactions.
- Digital Finance Transformation: Actively shape and accelerate the digital transformation within the shareholder controlling and equity management domain
Functie-eisen
- You have a Master's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional capability) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Financial Controlling.
- You have experience in financial controlling, accounting, reporting, or shareholder management, ideally enriched by commercial operational exposure to regional business units.
- You have a demonstrated track record in project management and process optimization for mid-sized initiatives, alongside experience leading cross-functional (virtual) international teams.
- You have functional knowledge of financial reporting, closing procedures, and business valuation methods, paired with experience in digitizing financial workflows.
- You have a full professional proficiency in English. Fluency in German is highly desirable; additional European languages (such as French, Spanish, or Portuguese) are a strong advantage.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- A gross monthly salary between €6900 and €7900 based on a 38-hour working week. Secondary ambitions are based on 40 hours.
- A contract for the period 01-10-2026 to 31-03-2027 on a secondment or freelance basis (38 hours per week)
- A monthly Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of10,66% of your salary, which can be allocated flexibly
- 25 days of paid annual leave, 5 of which can be converted into your IKB budget
