The Innovation & Design (I&D) organization at Philips drives breakthrough solutions across health technology. Within I&D, the Innovation Engineering (IEN) group focuses on translating advanced concepts into robust, scalable systems. A key pillar of this group is Product & Systems Engineering (P&SE), which ensures end-to-end integration of complex hardware and software platforms.
The Electronic Systems & IoT (ESI) cluster under P&SE specializes in embedded systems and connectivity solutions for next-generation medical devices and high-tech applications. Its Digital Processing team is at the forefront of signal and data processing innovations, enabling real-time performance in imaging, monitoring, and connected care systems. This team combines expertise in digital signal processing and embedded software engineering to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet stringent regulatory and usability standards.
Functie-eisen
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proven track record in Agile/Scrum methodologies, C++ coding, and object-oriented analysis and design on resource-constrained microcontroller platforms, applying SOLID principles.
- Experience with build/test tools (CMake) and developing connectivity solutions (BLE, Wi-Fi, Cellular).
- Knowledge of medical regulatory standards (ISO13485, IEC62304)
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, scripting, and software quality tools.

- Document developed software and report progress in a structured manner.
