Warehouse specialist

Are you an experienced Warehouse Specialist who loves getting hands-on with a challenging container terminal electrification project? We are looking for a proactive professional who is available immediately to keep the logistics process running smoothly on-site at Maasvlakte. As a Warehouse Specialist, you possess the following qualifications:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control
• You are available for a minimum of 40 hours per week
• You have working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems
• You have an excellent command in English (due to the international team)
• You hold a valid forklift certificate, or are willing to obtain one in the short term

In this role, you are the key linchpin in the warehouse, responsible for the entire process from receiving, storage, and inventory control to distributing materials to the project team. You are proactive, work with high precision, possess strong administrative skills, and know how to keep your cool on a busy project site.

• Receiving, checking, unloading, and processing materials and equipment
• Accurately recording all goods movements and transactions in SAP/ERP and Excel
• Conducting inventory counts, monitoring stock levels, and driving material availability
• Coordinating deliveries to on-site installation teams and operating the forklift
• Ensuring and enforcing strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines, as well as keeping the storage area clean and organized
• Liaising with suppliers, project managers, site engineers, and quality inspectors

For this specific project, you will be based directly on-site at the Maasvlakte. Here, you will work right in the middle of the dynamic environment of a large-scale container terminal electrification project. You will be part of an international, driven team where English is the primary language spoken. No two days are the same at this impressive port-side location, where innovation and technical progress are put into practice daily.

• Travel Allowance
• Please note: the location is situated at the very end of the Maasvlakte. Do you live in or near Rotterdam? Keep in mind that this requires extra travel time and make sure you have your own means of transportation!
