As an assembly mechanic, quality is your top priority. You are physically fit (it's an active job with mostly standing and some seated work). And you recognize yourself in the following:
- you are able to read technical drawings and work instructions without any issues;
- you hold at least a level 3 MBO (vocational) degree in a technical field;
- you have a good command of either Dutch or English.
As an assembly mechanic, you will work independently in the IGT Geometry department building complex systems. These are your main responsibilities:
- mechanical and electrical assembly of geometric X-ray arches and sub-assemblies from technical drawings;
- performing precise mechanical and electrical tests;
- safely operating hand tools, hoisting equipment, and auxiliary tools.
