You are an organized, detail-oriented team player who takes ownership and communicates effectively. You possess strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, capable of keeping an overview of parallel tasks and deadlines. With your proactive mindset, you take ownership, ask relevant questions, and escalate issues whenever needed.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences, Life Sciences with 1 year of experience OR;
  • Relevant MBO degree with 2–4 years of experience;
  • Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Eagerness to learn specialized software systems (such as 3E);
  • Written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.

As a Project Assistant, you will support the day-to-day execution of a Chemical Safety project according to the project plan. You maintain overview, communicate with vendors, and ensure accurate data flow into systems.

Below are some taks you can expect:

  • Tracking project tasks, milestones, and dependencies to keep the project on schedule.
  • Maintaining and updating project trackers and documentation in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Professionally communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders to request information, clarify requirements, and follow up.
  • Collecting, consolidating, and validating vendor responses and basic data inputs.
  • Uploading information into the 3E system and flagging inconsistencies (e.g., versus the SAP system) or missing data for the project lead.
  • Preparing concise status updates, meeting notes, and action-item lists, and following up on assigned actions.
