Tool Setter

The engine factory's tool room houses hundreds of different cutting tools. As a Tool Setter, you ensure that these are in perfect condition so that they can be loaded into the machines of the machining departments. As a tool setter, you recognize yourself in the following points:

• You speak Dutch or English
• You are willing to work in a 3-shift system
• You are available 40 hours per week
• You are willing to work in Eindhoven
• You have knowledge of cutting tools such as drills, taps, or milling cutters
• You have experience with precision mechanical work

As a Tool Setter, you work in the heart of the engine factory. You start your shift in the tool setting room according to fixed shift times. At a modern workbench, you repair drills, milling cutters, and taps arriving from the machining department. You change small parts, rinse components clean, and sharpen tools where necessary. Finally, you accurately set the tools to the correct length so that they can return directly to production.
