Trailer driver 2 shifts

Are you passionate about trucks and love working outdoors? This is the perfect place for you. As a trailer driver at Scania Logistics, your job revolves around skillfully maneuvering trailers. You’ll use large vehicles to ensure the logistics process runs smoothly. Sitting still isn’t in your nature. You’ll make sure every trailer is in the right place at the right time!

To work as a trailer driver it is important that you meet the following requirements:

• you live in Zwolle, or you have your own car, bicycle, or scooter
• you hold a Class C driver’s license, or a Class T driver’s license
• you have at least one year of experience driving with a trailer
• you are available full-time for two-shift work
• you are willing to work in both Zwolle and Hasselt (Overijssel)

The day begins on the vast grounds of Scania Logistics. The engine of the special shunting tractor starts up, and your work can begin. The goal is simple. Ensure that every trailer is at the right loading or unloading spot at exactly the right time. It’s a challenging puzzle where overview and precision are key.

As soon as a trailer is in position, you roll up your sleeves. The heavy tarps need to be removed. This is physical work that requires considerable strength and perseverance. Whether the sun is shining or the rain is pouring down. Your workplace is outdoors, and the work never stops.

In between driving, you sometimes perform minor assembly or disassembly work on the trailers. Everything is geared toward keeping the logistics flow running smoothly. Without this effort, production would come to a standstill. It’s a responsible role that combines flexible planning with brute strength.

You will be working on a two-shift schedule. The working hours are:

• morning shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• evening shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Scania Logistics in Zwolle handles everything related to Scania parts and trucks. From their warehouse, they ensure that the right supplies arrive at the right place on time.
