In this role, you will work within the Innovation and Design community at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. You translate complex engineering challenges across image-guided therapy, precision diagnostics, patient monitoring, and personal care into predictive simulation strategies.
Your key activities as a Computational Modeling Engineer - Mechanical:
- Develop, apply, and validate advanced physics-based models for design optimization
- Translate simulation outcomes into actionable technical guidance for R&D teams
- Strengthen the computational (bio)physics knowledge base across global engineering units
- Explore state-of-the-art modeling techniques and simulation tooling
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional physics, mechanics, and fluid dynamics specialists
Functie-eisen
You are successful if...
- You hold a master's or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
- You have experience with physics-based and mechanistic modeling of solid mechanics or dynamics
- You have experience with commercial or open-source simulation tools such as Marc-Mentat, ANSYS, Abaqus, OpenFOAM, or Comsol
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written
