how do we handle your complaint?
Below, you find a step-by-step guide detailing how your complaint is reported, processed, and ultimately resolved.
reporting a complaint
-
step 1: your report is registered
You'll complete the complaint form, getting help from a complaints line employee if necessary. Once you approve the details, the complaint will be officially logged and you'll be notified of the subsequent steps.
-
step 2: informing the manager
Your complaint is immediately sent to the responsible manager. They will then contact you within two working days to swiftly resolve the issue or discuss the necessary next steps.
-
step 3: finalising and closing your complaint
Once the complaint is successfully handled and resolved, the manager finalises the complaint form and returns it to the complaints line for official closure.
confidential counsellors
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior such as intimidation, discrimination, or sexual misconduct, you can always discuss it with a confidential counsellor at 020 569 58 03. This phone number always goes straight to voicemail. If you leave your name and phone number, you will be contacted within 24 hours.
The counsellor's role is to provide a safe space to listen and support you as you explore potential actions. The decision and control over the process always remains yours.
Randstad has multiple confidential counsellors who offer a listening ear. As an employee, you can also find the contact details for our confidential counsellors in the employee handbook, available via Mijn Randstad.
the integrity line
The procedure for reporting misconduct is our whistleblowing scheme and offers (temporary) employees, clients, and others the possibility to report illegal practices or serious misconduct at or by (an employee of) Randstad. Serious misconduct is defined as: discrimination, sexual or other harassment, fraud, theft, corruption, bribery, cartel formation, misuse of Randstad assets for personal gain, misuse of alcohol or drugs, etc.
This procedure for reporting misconduct is intended as a last resort and offers the possibility to report misconduct anonymously. This procedure can be used if all previously mentioned options yield insufficient results or if there is fear of retaliation.
Misconduct can be reported (anonymously) to an external agency that passes the report on to our internal integrity officer. They will investigate the report and ensure feedback is provided to the person who reported it. The report can be made both by phone and via the internet. Clearly state what occurred (who, what, where).
