Je kan niet zomaar als vliegtuigtanker bij KLM aan de slag. Het is belangrijk dat je beschikt over een rijbewijs B en minimaal MBO3 werk- en denkniveau hebt. Als tankwagenchauffeur start je met een 3 weken durende opleiding, hier ben jij ook beschikbaar voor. Verder vragen wij het volgende:

• Je spreekt goed Nederlands en beheerst de basis van de Engelse taal
• Je staat minimaal 8 jaar ingeschreven in een Nederlandse gemeente en bent niet in aanraking geweest met justitie (VGB screening)
• Je bent in het bezit van een rijbewijs B of CE
• Je bent kan op vrijdagen werken

Je start de dag met een lekkere kop koffie in onze kantine. Even een dolletje met je collega’s en je haalt de handheld op, waar de taken op binnenkomen. Het is tijd en je krijg je eerste taak binnen. Een boeing 777 komt vertraagd binnen en moet al over 45 minuten vertrekken. Je controleert de tankwagen en gaat op stap. Jij weet als geen ander de tankwagen in alle drukte rondom het vliegtuig, veilig te manoeuvreren. In alle drukte voer jij je werk rustig en veilig uit.Twijfel of het klopt? Jij schakelt snel met de piloten zodat de juiste hoeveelheid getankt wordt. Gehaald, je laat nog snel de bon aftekenen door de piloten en je meldt de taak af. Het vliegtuig is mede dankzij jou weer op tijd vertrokken. In de pauze lunch je gezellig samen met collega’s in de kantine. Nog even de mail lezen of het nieuws kijken? Ook dat kan. Je levert de spullen in, bespreekt nog even de bijzondere gevallen met je collega en je dag zit er op. Je gaat met een tevreden gevoel naar huis.
