Leren en werken in de praktijk. Je gaat de taken van een operator onder begeleiding leren. Als startend operator ga je machines bedienen, ombouwen en afstellen. Natuurlijk hoort daar ook de administratie van de machine en de productie bij. Je controleert de aluminium producten op maat en kwaliteit. Dit alles doet doe je in een veilige werkomgeving en met een opgeruimde werkplek.

Als operator in opleiding bij Hydro kun je op verschillende afdelingen leren werken. De verschillende afdelingen kunnen wisselende ploegenroosters hebben. Hydro is een groot en internationaal bedrijf in Drunen. Hiervoor heette het SAPA en Alcoa. Dit van oorsprong Noorse bedrijf heeft tegenwoordig Hydro en heeft wereldwijd vestigingen. As a welder at Hydro you will weld all kinds of aluminum profiles (together). You will be taught how to work and weld with aluminum. MIG and possibly TIG welding are also discussed in your work. You will check your own work for quality and you can read technical drawings.

• You are full-time available in 3 shifts (7:00-15:30, 15:30-24:00 and 24:00-07:00);

At Hydro Extrusion you will work as an operator. This means that you will be performing different tasks. With your knowledge (also what you will learn at the company), you will work mostly by yourself. Your work tasks will look like following :

• Operating various machines;
