In deze mooie rol bij Defensie als leerlingbegeleider autotechniek begeleid je leerlingen (tussen de 16 en 25 jaar) die de opleiding EBAT autotechniek volgen. In deze opleiding is het doel de cursist te voorzien van basis informatie autotechniek, specifiek gericht op militaire voertuigen (denk aan CV90, Fennek of Vector).

Naast jouw technische achtergrond heb jij een opleiding in de autotechniek afgerond. Je hebt niet alleen affiniteit met voertuigen: je kunt en je wilt er met energie meer over leren en je praat er graag over. Doel van de functie is het overbrengen van kennis en kunde: hier ben jij goed in.

• Je beschikt over een opleiding EBAT autotechniek, mechatronica of werktuigbouwkunde.

Dit is een afwisselende functie, waarbij je bijvoorbeeld stages begeleidt, praktijklessen geeft of monteurs voorziet van extra opleiding. Voor het geven van de opleiding wordt voor de theorie gebruik gemaakt van de leeromgeving Electude. Voor de praktijk zijn bovenstaande voertuigen aanwezig als referentievoertuig. De doelstelling van de opleiding is dat de cursist voldoende kennis heeft om de functieopleiding van het specifieke voertuig te starten. De cursisten komen namelijk binnen zonder technische achtergrond. Het gaat dus om de basis autotechniek op
specifieke militaire voertuigen.

• De kandidaat is bekend met de bevelsverhoudingen en militaire gebruiken en normen en kan hiermee omgaan.
• De kandidaat heeft kennis van de militaire voertuigen waar op locatie mee gewerkt wordt (CV90, Fennek, Vector, Boxer of Bushmaster).

De Generaal-majoor De Ruyter van Steveninckkazerne in Oirschot is een van de belangrijkste en tevens grootste legerplaatsen van de Nederlandse Koninklijke Landmacht. De kazerne, die grenst aan het uitgestrekte oefenterrein de Oirschotse Heide, fungeert als de hoofdlocatie van de 13 Lichte Brigade.

Systems Test Engineer

Design, implement, and execute both manual and automated test strategies, ensuring new product introductions (NPI)and software releases perform exactly as intended and get an opportunity to working closely with cross-functional teams in development, validation, and manufacturing, you'll help deliver innovations that make a real impact in hospitals around the world.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Review and implement the Product Verification Plan, defining the best manual and automated testing approaches.
• Translate requirements and design documents into clear, maintainable, and reproducible test cases.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using modern tools and techniques such as:

-C#, Gherkin, SpecFlow, NUnit, and AI/ML-based frameworks.

-Apply risk-based testing strategies that align with medical device regulations (e.g. FDA, ISO).

-Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring robust system integration and verification outcomes.

• Provide proactive feedback to design and development teams to continuously improve product quality.
• Contribute to the enhancement of automation frameworks, tools, and verification processes.
• Promote best practices in testing and automation, and support colleagues in adopting them effectively.
• Collaborate across development, validation, service, and manufacturing functions to ensure smooth system integration and delivery.

Functie-eisen

Your bring along with you:

• You hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Software Development, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• You have 2+ years of experience in manual and automated system testing, ideally in complex, regulated environments such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive.
• You are skilled in test automation and scripting, using tools such as: C#, Gherkin, SpecFlow, NUnit.
• You're detail-oriented, quality-driven, and capable of working in multi-disciplinary, multi-site environments.
• You have strong analytical thinking and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of FDA or ISO medical device standards is a strong plus.
